Madina Foundation, a non-governmental organization, organized a mass marriage ceremony at The University of Faisalabad (TUF), in which 50 couples tied their knot.
During his speech, Prof Javed paid tribute to the front line heroes including doctors and health works in the war against COVID-19, and encouraged them to work with dedication. He also encouraged the COVID-19 recovered people to donate their plasma to save the lives of the suffering community. The marriage expenditure of 50 orphan and deserving girls from Faisalabad and surrounding areas was borne by Madinah Foundation. The couples were given dowry and more than 2000 guests including parents of the couples, their relatives and friends were served lunch.

As per details, Additional Registrar (Academic) Prof Dr.Najeeb Haider, Additional Registrar (Administration), Col (r) Abid Mushtaq, TUF (Engineering wing) was the Chief Guest. Renowned religious scholar Qari Niaz Ahmad offered Khutba Nikah, Qaseeda Burda Sharrif and Qaseeda Ghosia. He prayed for newly wedded couples. Moreover, the Administration and Students of the University participated enthusiastically in the arrangements of the event. The guests appreciated the services of Madinah Foundation and The University of Faisalabad for this noble cause.
