Seminar on “Entrepreneurship as a Career Option” to Inspire Young Innovators

The Faculty of Management Studies, TUF, in collaboration with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) and National Business School, organized a seminar titled “Entrepreneurship as a Career Option” under the theme Youth Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Career Development. The seminar aimed to equip students with entrepreneurial knowledge, practical insights, and career development opportunities.

Prof Dr Muhammad Ashfaq, Dean, Faculty of Management Studies, welcomed the distinguished guests and participants. In his address, he highlighted the role of entrepreneurship in driving innovation, creating employment opportunities, and contributing to economic growth. He encouraged students to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset and translate their innovative ideas into sustainable business ventures.

Ms Fakiha Zubair, District Officer, SMEDA Faisalabad, briefed students on SMEDA's support services, business development resources, and facilitation opportunities available to aspiring entrepreneurs. Ms Ayesha Riaz, Founder of ThinkForward Learning, conducted an interactive training session on entrepreneurial thinking, innovation, and career planning. The session encouraged active student participation through discussions and questions, offering practical guidance on identifying business opportunities and transforming ideas into viable startups.

Dr Muhammad Rizwan Chaudhary, Associate Professor, NBS, who organized and coordinated the seminar, delivered the concluding remarks. He acknowledged the contributions of the guest speakers and encouraged students to apply their learning to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities. The seminar reinforced TUF's focus on developing entrepreneurial skills among students, encouraging innovative thinking, and preparing young graduates to become future business leaders and job creators.
