OBJECTIVES

Emergency and Intensive Care Sciences should enable the student to excel in:

ROLE AND SCOPE

The training in managing medical and surgical emergencies makes the scope very broad in hospitals as all hospitals need such personnel to run their emergency departments.

They can be employed to work in any natural disaster situation like earthquakes, floods and displaced persons rehabilitation and management. They can become important members of disaster management and build active teams perpetually in a state of preparedness to meet any natural disaster.
