The University of Faisalabad observed the Youm e Wasal of Hazrat Fatima (S.A) And Hazrat Khadeeja Tul Kubra (S.A) with solemnity and religious zeal. In this respect seminars were organized in both the campuses. In Saleem Campus Ms Uzma Kausar Lecturer Islamic Sciences threw light on the life and personality of Hazrat Fatima Tu Zahra (S.A) and Hazrat Khadeeja Tul Kubra (S.A). She said that Hazrat Fatima (S.A) is the leader of the women of paradise. She was the beloved daughter of Hazrat Muhammad SAW. Hazrat Khadeeja Tul Kubra (S.A) had a deep dedication to Islam and love for and gratitude to Allah. She sacrificed all her wealth for Islam.

In Amin Campus, a seminar was conducted on July 26 2012.  The seminar was presided over by Prof. Dr Abdul Karim Baloch Pro Rector the University of Faisalabad. Mr Hamid Nawaz Sheikh Controller Examinations the University of Faisalabad presented the introductory note. Prof Dr Mahfooz Ahmed Ex-Chairman Department of Islamic Studies G. C University Faisalabad was the guest speaker. He expressed his views on Hazrat Fatima Tu Zahra S.A’s Seerat-O-Kirdar, her piety, wisdom and her status as a great religious personality in the history of Islam. He further highlighted that Hazrat Khadeeja S.A stood by the Prophet Muhammad SAW in moments of trial and difficulty. He paid glowing tributes to their sacrifices for Islam at most crucial junctures.
