World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Pakistan started its ECO Internship Program at Saleem Campus of TUF on 6th June 2012.
In First session, Ms Mehwish Ilyas, Program Coordinator, from WWF in her lecture told that World Wildlife Fund
(WWF) Pakistan is one of the leading International organizations working for the conservation and protection of environment.
The organization is physically present in 30 different locations across the country. WWF has extensive environment education campaign to raise awareness about the pressing environmental issues of Pakistan. She told that this internship program will provide an opportunity for young people to get actively involved in nature conservation.
ECO internship program will continue for a week. The program is a nationwide 6-session long environmental workshop. The students are given series of interactive activities and presentations to foster a sense of civic responsibility. In The University of Faisalabad 104 students from different departments have been registered for this workshop.
