Higher Education Commission is trying its utmost to expand access to higher education in the country. Recently HEC has ranked the Universities in keeping with the approved global criteria based on the advancement in knowledge through research and development.

I congratulate The University of Faisalabad on securing second position among the category of "General Universities Small" ranked by HEC. The University of Faisalabad having purpose built campus with state of the art facilities is a major project of Madina Foundation for the people of Faisalabad region as well as for other parts of Punjab. The Chairman Board of Governors deserves special appreciation for this prominent contribution which The University of Faisalabad has made on the academic landscape.

HEC is confident that the University's mission and Goals are met through various programs of studies which are continuously assessed for their performance and further improvements. In this respect, the faculty must realize the potential of every new comer in the University. I assure the University management of full cooperation and support of HEC in their endeavours for quality enhancement.

I am sure the new students will leave the University with the spirit to press into service their knowledge and skill for brightening up their communities and Pakistan.
