Introduction

Literary society certainly can teach young people how to think critically and develop communication skills them can help them effect democratic change. Literary society Can also enable students to consider carefully and critically the words of their political representatives and prepares listeners not to be persuaded by a demagogue. Through literary society students learn not only to express their views but also to persuade others.

Objectives:

The objectives of the literary society are:

  1. To provide enabling environment to the students for grooming their personalities and enhancing their cognitive skills.
  2. To determine students aspirations, development potential and role in the society and identify issues and problems affecting them.
  3. To develop an understanding of the changing world order and its challenges and enables them to integrate with the world
  4. To provide an opportunity to students to sensitize themselves.
  5. Is to cater to the wide literary tastes of the populace at tuf.
  6. Is the cater to the intellectual and aesthetic faculties of the tuf student body.
  7. It strives to develop an interest in literature in order to ensure that the time honored culture of literary perusal is not forsaken in this era of technology blitzkrieg  
  8. By holding regular debating events, it attempts to create awareness amongst the students regarding issues at the pulse of society today.
