Admission
The university of Faisalabad  encourages those who wish to pursue higher education to apply provided they qualify for admission to the courses of studies offered by the university. Admission to the university is, however subject to the following conditions:

Meeting eligibility criteria
Payment of all dues including admission, tuition and other fees and charges
Submission of a medical Fitness Certificate from Madina Teaching Hospital
Signing of an undertaking to abide by rules, regulations and guidelines framed by the University from time to time

The University admits academically sound individuals on the basis of merit determined by the pre-university academic record and its own admission test. To qualify for admissions, applicants must meet the general entrance requirement of the University and the particular program to which they are considering  to apply. the eligibility conditions for each course of study are stated in the relevant section of the colleges.
Admission Calendar:

Fall Semester                      :           September
Spring Semester                  :           January

  • Advertisement for admission is published in leading newspapers both English and Urdu approximately 4-6 weeks before the date of closing of admission.  However, applications received prior to the appearance of the advertisement are also entertained.
  • The candidates awaiting examination results can also submit applications for granting admission. The same will, however, be conditional to successfully passing public examination in which the applicant has appeared.
  • Applications are to be made on the prescribed form which must be accompanied by authenticated copies of testimonials.  Incomplete applications are not entertained.
  • Admissions are based on merit.  The merit criteria are determined on the basis of academic record and the result of the test conducted by the University.
  • Weightag of determining merit is 60:40 for academic record and the admission test respectively.  Candidates need not to bring any stationary items or calculators.  All materials will be supplied by the University.  Violation of instructions will disqualify the candidate.
  • Admission is granted provisionally  subject to the submission of all documents.  If any of the documents is found false or forged, legal action will be taken against the student and he/she will be debarred from the admission.
  • Successful candidates are required to complete registration and enrolment formalities by the notified dates.
  • Each student will be issued an Identity Card entitling him to be recognized as a bonafide student of the University.
  • No student will be allowed to enter the University or its residence halls without an identity card.
  • On completion of the admission procedure, a student will be required to attend orientation course, spread over one week, on the dates notified by the University.

University has prescribed the code of conduct as well as dress code for the students.  Each student is required to furnish an undertaking in writing that he/she will conform to the rules, regulations and moral code laid down by the University from time to time.  The University reserves the right to cancel the admission of a student, if he/she fails to comply with the prescribed rules and regulations.

Provisional Admission

Candidates awaiting result may also apply and can be granted provisional admission if otherwise eligible. They are however, required to submit an affidavit to the effect that in case, after  the declaration of result they do not meet the eligibility criteria their admission may be cancelled. Initially, all admissions in the University are provisional subject to confirmation after verification of their certificates/degrees. Applicants who are provisionally admitted must ensure that their results are received  in the admission office within four weeks of the commencement of semester otherwise their admission will be cancelled

 
 
 
 
Re-Admission
  • Students who make an initial enrolment at The University of Faisalabad but do not enroll the following semester will have one-year valid admission status provided they discontinued their studies with permission.
  • The students who discontinued their studies may reactivate their admission status by completing readmission form in the next semester.
  • Students dismissed from the University shall not be eligible for readmission.
